Face Of The Day...

F.O.T.D

Seeing as I'm heading off out to the London Eye tonight with my ever so lovely boyfriend, I thought I'd take some extremely vain and posey (it's not a word but you get my drift) pictures of myself and do a face of the day post!

Face
Benefit That Gal Primer
Chanel Vitalumiere Aqua (review very soon)
Elizabeth Arden Ceramide Smoothing Concealer
Revlon Photoready Eye Brightener
Estee Lauder Bronze Goddess Bronzer
Estee Lauder Radiant Peach Blush
Benefit High Beam Highlighter

Eyes
Benefit Low Profile all over lid
Clinique Stone Violet in crease
Maybelline Master Precise Liquid Eyeliner
Rimmel Exaggerate Waterproof Eyeliner in water line and smudged in lower lash line
Lancome L'Extreme Mascara

Lips
Estee Lauder Orchid Passion Shimmer Gloss (review very soon)

I have fake tan on so this is why I have a slight orange tinge to my skin...I shouldn't be allowed near fake tan as Nicola + Fake Tan = Disaster

Elizabeth Arden Favourites

I was introduced to Elizabeth Arden a while back by my lovely friend Amy, I had always been an Estee Lauder girl at heart and was, to be honest, a little dubious to try Elizabeth Arden Cosmetics as the name sounded grannyish to me and I had never really looked at any of their collections.
I absolutely adore the packaging, its chic and almost has a vintage look and the quality of the products are pretty much perfect. Somehow a vast amount of products have ended up in my make up collection and I don't how how haha!

This Color Intrigue Quad is A.mazing, the shadows are sooo pigmented, easy to blend and are perfect for a natural eye. The packaging is sleek and compact with a decent sized mirror which is perfect to bring in your handbag

This is my go to blush at the present. I'm a huge fan of mineral make up and this blush is just perfect for my skin tone and a small amount really brightens up my complexion. It's a nice warm shade and the packaging is what I would call granny chic which is perfect for me.
If you've been reading my blog for a little while you will have seen me mention this lipstick before. It is a peachy orange (I'm awful at describing colours) with iridescent glitter. It gives a subtle sheen to the lips which makes it perfect for day time and I have to say this is my favourite purchase from Elizabeth Arden.

Do you have any favourites from Elizabeth Arden?

P.S Sorry for my lack of posts yet again I have been horrendously busy with work and everything else. Hope you all have a wonderous week

My Favourite Lipsticks

Recently I've become a little obsessed with lipsticks, I love how they can be subtle and natural and other times they can completely change and complete your whole look. I don't have a huge collection of lipsticks but I have got 8 definite favourites that I wear regularily. Some are new purchases and some are extremely old and they range from dark reds to nudes♥.

Elizabeth Arden Color Intrigue Effects Lipstick Sun Blush Sheer

Barry M 101

Estée Lauder Pure Color Lipstick Candy 116

Bourjois Docteur Glamour 23 Orange Charnel

L'Oreal Color Riche 164 Rouge Concorde

No7 Stay Perfect 55 Glace

Natural Collection Moisture Shine Apple Blossom

Estée Lauder Pure Color Lipstick 123 Fig

I like to wear these lipsticks on a daily basis, Glace, Rouge Concorde and Fig are mainly for nights out and the rest I usually wear for the day time. I never really alternate my lipsticks for the different seasons as I tend to just wear what I feel suits my mood best.
Lipsticks are definitely a staple in my make up collection and I'm looking to expand my collection further, Are there any Lipsticks that you can reccommend I buy?
Hope you've all had a wonderous Monday and enjoy what's left of the evening ♥.

Good Enough to Eat??

My sister bought me this Cupcake Hand Cream for Christmas (I think it's from Amazon, not too sure on the price though) and I have to say that this is one of the best hand creams I have ever used and I have used a lot. (I'm a student nurse so am forever washing my hands,  a good quality hand cream is a must have!!). Not only does it have the cutest cupcake design which makes it look edible, it also smells DELICIOUS! I don't normally like cherries or cherry smelling things but this (and cherry hubba bubba, do you remember those?) are the exception!

The sprinkles look more like beans in this photo, serves me right for trying to do an artistic close up haha!!

I find my self applying this cream for no apparent reason just so that I can smell it, the hand cream itself is fast absorbing, non greasy, really moisturising and a little bit goes a long way. I ♥ this hand cream it is officially my favourite one just down to the scent, Soap&Glory's Hand Food is a close second. I've also tried Elizabeth Arden's Eight Hour Hand Cream and although it is perfect in pretty much every way the scent just doesn't compare to my new cupcake.
Do you have any hand creams that you can recommend? ♥.
